CrossFit Sanctional™

Much more information still to come!

To ensure consistency with the CrossFit Games Rulebook, it’s important to distinguish between an athlete who “qualifies” to compete in the CrossFit Games and an athlete who is “invited” to compete at the Games. Athletes who compete in the Games by virtue of winning a Sanctionals event is considered to be “invited” to compete, whereas athletes who “qualify” to compete at the Games are those that have earned the right to compete because of their standing in the CrossFit Open.  The Open is the only qualifying round of the CrossFit Games, thus the term “qualify” is reserved for those athletes.
