The 2021 AP Games is online!

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the 2021 Asbury Park Summer Games will be held online! See below for information on each of the workouts as well as links for the scorecards for each workout. Each division is teams of 3 (MMM or FFF) but each workout can be done with team members in different locations. Each team will submit one scorecard for each workout containing scores of all team members added up.

Scorecards are due no later than 5 pm EST on Sunday, June 27th and should be submitted via Sweatworks at the below link (“submit scores”). Note, you must be logged in to submit for your team (if re-directed, navigate to “activities”).

2021 APG Workout # 1

Workout 1A (for Time)

21-15-9 shoulder to overhead
42-30-15 Row Calories
-10 minute cap –
Elite – #135/95
Rx – #115/75
Masters – #115/75
Intermediate – #95/65

– at 10 minute mark start workout 1B-

Workout 1B (for weight)

10 minutes to establish 2 rep max back squat (From rack)
People can assist in picking up any changing the weights.

At 20 minute mark set weight for workout 1C

50% of workout 1B weight on the bar – round down to nearest 5lb. ( example: workout 1B score: 155lbs. 50% of that is 77.5lbs that would round down to 75 pounds)

Start workout 1C at 22 minute mark

Workout 1C (for time)

15-12-9
Squat clean at 50% of workout 1B score
Burpees over the bar

– 15 minute cap-

Burpees can be lateral or bar facing. Elite and rx must launch and land on two feet. Masters and intermediate have the option to step over.

Score per team is total:

  • Workout 1A: add up all three times
  • Workout 1B: add up all three weights
  • Workout 1C: add up all three times (subtract out the 22 minutes) Example: if an athlete’s time is 29:35- that athlete’s score is 7:35.

    AMRAP 8

    4 Toes to Bar
    4 Thrusters
    4 Chest to bar

    *reps increase by 4 each round per movement*

    Weights:
    Elite 95/65
    Rx 95/65
    Masters 95/65
    Intermediate 95/65 – pull ups will replace chest to bar

    Score: add up all 3 rep counts for a total score.
