Establish Team 15 Rep Max Hang Clean:

8 Minutes to Complete:

  • At the count of 3-2-1 Go, the team will establish a weight on the bar
  • Each athlete will have one attempt to establish as many reps as they choose
  • The set will be considered successful when a total of 15 reps are achieved across each athlete’s max set
  • All athletes must do at least 1 rep at the chosen weight (same across all team members)
  • Example:
    Athlete A: 4 reps + Athlete B: 6 reps + Athlete C: 5 reps = 15 total reps

Scoring

  • Score is weight at 15 RM
  • If a team does not successfully complete 15 reps across their max sets, their score for the event is 0

Workout Standards

  • Hang Clean starts from the top of the Deadlift and can travel back down but cannot touch the ground – once the weight touches the ground that athlete’s set is complete
  • Once the first athlete makes their first attempt (Deadlift to hang clean position), all team members are required to make an attempt at that weight
  • Hang Squat Cleans or Hang Power Cleans are acceptable
